Uni-OSH Consultants 2015 Ltd

Uni-OSH Consultants 2015 Ltd was established by Associate Professor Douglas Hay to provide Chemical Handling Training. Professor Hay is Principal of the company. In 1979 he established Massey University's Occupational Safety and Health degree and diploma programmes. He was awarded the NZ Science and Technology Medal in 2000 for 'Recognition of significant long term contributions to the discipline of Occupational Safety and Health within New Zealand and internationally'. This award is administered by the NZ Royal Society on behalf of the NZ Government.

Chemical Handling Training courses

are offered 'On Line' or 'Face to Face' and include:

  1. Certified Chemical Handler (1 Day) - for workers handling extremely toxic chemicals.
  2. Chemical Handling (1 Day) - for workers handling all types of chemicals with varying hazard levels (i.e. flammable/toxic/corrosive/eco toxic)
  3. Chemical Awareness course (3-4 hours) - this is an introductory course on chemical handling.

Douglas Hay, principal of the company, is a chemical engineer and Associate Professor in Occupational Safety and Health at Massey University.
